This month is my favorite issue. I love to travel. I have worked on 2 amazing travel publications in the past. This marks the first directly under my guidance. I thought that trying to acquire travel related content that would be relevant on a local level would be a challenge. I was pleasantly surprised. I think you will be too.

April 12th marked the official introduction of FocusOn SWR to the local businesses and residents. Hosted by George Eldi of Wines By Nature in the Shoppes at East Wind and catered by Ruggero’s, it was an incredibly well-attended event.
This month we “Focus On” Home and Garden. With articles about topics like Ticks and Your Pets, Dewinterizing, Spring Fashion, History, What’s Happening in Our Backyard and of course our wine column in the culinary section – you are bound to find something that interests you!
Although, generally our April issue is slated to be “focused on” Home And Garden, this being what looks to be the first to go out in print (but possibly strictly online) we opted for a more inclusive type of issue. It’s more of a Spring issue. We do touch on home and garden with a feature. But there is so much more!
